Position Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic bilingual volunteers to support both our community outreach and special event initiatives. This unique role combines direct service to community members with behind-the-scenes support for fundraising and awareness events. Volunteers will play a vital part in bridging language and cultural gaps, while also helping raise the resources needed to continue our mission. Responsibilities: Community Outreach Provide interpretation and translation support at outreach events, workshops, and community meetings. Assist in creating bilingual flyers, outreach materials, and social media posts. Connect with community members to share resources and services. Help individuals and families navigate available programs (housing, healthcare, employment, etc.). Special Events & Fundraising Support planning and preparation for fundraising events (galas, charity runs, fairs, auctions). Assist with event-day operations (registration, guest support, set-up/clean-up, donation tables). Promote events through word-of-mouth, social media, and distributing flyers in the community. Reach out to local businesses for sponsorships or raffle/auction donations. Time Commitment Minimum of

3–6 hours per month

(outreach, events, or both). Some evening or weekend availability is helpful for special events. Commitment period:

3–6 months

preferred, but short-term or one-time volunteers welcome for events. Flexibility Outreach opportunities are often scheduled during weekdays, with occasional evening/weekend activities. Special events may require

longer shifts (4–6 hours)

on the day of the event. Volunteers can choose opportunities that fit their schedule. Training & Support Orientation provided to all new volunteers. Additional training on the needs for interpretation/translation, or event-specific roles. Ongoing staff support and check-ins to ensure volunteers feel confident.
