The Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant 1 to aid nursing staff in providing high-quality care to our honored veterans. Minimum Qualifications: Six months of experience or training in patient care; OR Possession of a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate; OR Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing, Practical Nursing, Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician Program. Job Duties: Provide residents assistance with activities of daily living Obtain vital signs and weights Observe the resident's condition and report any changes to the nurse Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: WAE Compensation: This position is eligible for retention pay (per hour worked) and shift differential.
