Mortgage Processing Assistant
Description: Mortgage Processing Assistants provide vital administrative support to the Processing team by managing documentation and coordinating communication. This role involves working across multiple systems to support a high-volume pipeline of mortgage loans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and assembling paperwork Communicate with internal employees via phone to gather borrower information Work within multiple systems to manage loan documentation Contact third-party companies to retrieve loan-related information Order and verify homeowner’s insurance documents Request and receive necessary mortgage documentation Conduct employment verifications for potential borrowers Accurately enter mortgage documents into internal databases Required Skills: Administrative support Data entry Loan processing General support in mortgage operations Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in financial services (mortgage experience preferred) 3+ years of administrative and data entry experience Strong written communication skills Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently High attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work independently Experience in financial services or banking is a plus Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience Level: Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
