Warehouse Supervisor

Adecco is now hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor position for a manufacturing company, where the company culture promotes collaboration, accountability, curiosity, respect, and embracing each other's differences in the Los Angeles area. This is a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and participate in daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.

Manage replenishment of picking locations and ensure product availability.

Supervise cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Coordinate pallet assembly, loading/unloading of small parcels, LTL, FTL, and pallet shipments.

Oversee and document returned shipments per the company's returns process.

Ensure timely and accurate data entry into ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Classify freight and calculate freight quotes for domestic and international shipments.

Prepare and verify shipping documentation including BOLs, SLIs, EEIs, and NAFTA certificates.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace that complies with company policies and OSHA standards.

Lead receiving operations including sorting, counting, scanning, and palletizing incoming freight.

Monitor workload, prioritize tasks, and make decisions to meet tight shipping deadlines.

Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (customer service, logistics, supply chain) to resolve order or shipping issues.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Prepare and verify shipping documentation including BOLs, SLIs, EEIs, and NAFTA certificates.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Must have 1-3 years' experience of working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and at least 1 year of leadership or supervisory role.

Be able to stand, bend, and do lifting during the full 8-hour shift.

Must have at least 1 year of Manuel Pallet Experience

Experience using a Warehouse Management System/ERP system and following best practice to ensure inventory is tracked correctly.

Experience with Shipping & Receiving domestic and internationally with all carriers UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Stamps.com

Forklift Certification preferred

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Detail-orientated is a must.

Ability to communicate professionally with management and team.

Strong computer skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Shifts Available:

Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some overtime.

Pay Details:

$29.00 per hour
