BASIC FUNCTION:
The Executive Assistant will be a critical part of the ConnectALL team by supporting the SVP and help manage and prioritize his time effectively and maintain key relationships. Interact with high-level government officials and industry executives, support team and be capable of cultivating productive working relationships across ESD. Experience navigating complicated internal systems and processes and exhibit resourcefulness and creativity. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment guided by a strong sense of mission, a must.WORK PERFORMED:
- Maintain the SVP's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
- Manage the flow of documents to the SVP for review, approval, or signature.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the ConnectALL Office and internal and external groups to coordinate scheduling and providing administrative support for governance meetings.
- Determine priority of matters of attention for the SVP; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
- Keep the SVP advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Compose and prepare letters relating to routine correspondence for the SVP's signature.
- Schedule departmental meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports.
- Answering a variety of questions with tact and diplomacy, taking messages, and directing calls appropriately for resolution.
- Other additional duties as assigned.
