**Description:** You will be the Manufacturing Planner Sr for the PAC\-3 CLS PP&C team\. Our team is responsible for supporting the PAC\-3 Program\. **What You Will Be Doing** As the Manufacturing Planner, Senior, you will act as the team lead for the PAC\-3 CLS PP&C team, responsible for shortage management for all CLS hardware\. You will oversee the management of hardware from loading the requirements to tracking parts with GSC, and then from issue to installation of the part\. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials \(BOM\) Planner
- Coordinating interdepartmental activity and issue management with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, etc\.
- Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
- Assisting with team building and training as necessary
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education\.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance\. An Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting\.
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
- Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem\-solving,
- Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
- Experience with material requirements and
- Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas\.
- Green Belt trained / certified
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management \(CPIM\) certification
- Demonstrates informal leadership qualities
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning \(ERP\) and/or Material Management and Accounting System \(MMAS\)
