Job Description
MS/Tele RNs provide care to a diverse patient population, including medical, surgical, and telemetry patients. Responsibilities include: Monitoring patients with cardiac and telemetry needs Managing medical/surgical patients (respiratory, renal, diabetes, hospice/palliative, psychiatric observation, post-surgical) IV therapy: initiating/maintaining IVs, blood product administration, PICC/peripheral line management Respiratory support: CPAP/BiPAP, chest tubes, nasal cannula, suctioning Wound care and surgical drains Participating in Rapid Response/Code teams Collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams (IV Teams, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy) Patient Ratios:
