We re seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to become an integral part of a collaborative and supportive team. This is a unique opportunity to practice a balanced blend of outpatient pulmonology and ICU critical care , with the chance to contribute to innovative program development in pulmonary medicine. Position Highlights Balanced Clinical Schedule

* ICU Coverage: Dedicated one week per month in critical care service. * Outpatient Pulmonology: Two weeks per month in clinic managing conditions like COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer. * Inpatient Pulmonary Consults: Minimal, on an as-needed basis only. * Call Expectations:

* No routine nights, weekends, or holidays coverage by in-house nocturnists. * Optional compensated night shifts available. * Holiday shifts equitably shared among team members.

Advanced Facilities & Resources Pulmonary Capabilities

* Dedicated endoscopy suite with EBUS. * ION robotic bronchoscopy platform planned for implementation. * Lung nodule clinic under development for comprehensive, coordinated care.

Critical Care Environment

* Three fully equipped ICUs, with a fourth opening soon. * Multidisciplinary rounding teams and 24/7 ICU coverage by intensivists. * Seamless support from in-house APPs and access to interventional radiology.

Procedural Opportunities

* Critical Care: Intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, temporary pacing, and sedation. * Pulmonary: Diagnostic bronchoscopy and thoracentesis; support available from APPs and IR as needed. * Preferred (Not Required): Experience in advanced bronchoscopy (e.g., ION, EBUS).

Team Structure & Support

* ICU Coverage: 3 attendings and 1 2 APPs by day; 1 attending + 1 APP overnight. * Pulmonology Clinic: Multispecialty team including full-time pulmonologists, PCCM physicians, APPs, RNs, and medical assistants. * Collaborative environment with robust cross-specialty consultation and support.
