* As soon as credentialed - ongoing * On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights * Monday-Wednesday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 12p-10a, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a * Thursday-Sunday: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 2p-12a, 4p-2a, 8p-6a
Clinical Information:
* Experienced, high volume, level II trauma center, 24/7 trauma surgeons on site, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center * Number of beds: 423 hospital beds, 49 ED beds * Census: 70,000 visits/year * Daily admissions: 25% * Multi-specialty support and consultant backup 24/7 * Patient population: Urban * EM physicians typically on staff per shift: 2-3, single coverage overnight for 4 hours and during the morning for 2 hours
Required:
* DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active * Board Certified ABEM * ACLS/PALS/ATLS * Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role * Active TX License
