We believe that, together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future while tackling the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.We are looking for a **Sr. Staff Controls Engineer** to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA**Job Description****Role and Responsibilities:*** Design, implement, and test control algorithms for new and existing products.* Collaborate with cross functional team to define requirements.* Optimize legacy code for performance, safety, and maintainability.* Support validation and verification processes including HIL/SIL testing.* Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and tools.**Skills and Experience:*** Excellent knowledge of MATLAB and simulation environment* Experience with data analysis in Python or MATLAB* Experience with C/Python software development and embedded coding* Experience with version control software GitHub/GitLab preferred* Experience in developing model predictive control* Experience in porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code* Desire to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment* Understanding of diagnostic techniques for system componentsFor more information visit: www.bloomenergy.com and view a video on What Powers Us!Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
