Overview
We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead the design and execution of our payments strategy. This individual will work across multiple teams to shape the bank’s payments roadmap, build strong industry partnerships, and drive innovation that enhances both our commercial and retail customer experiences. Responsibilities
Define and communicate the payments vision, ensuring alignment with the broader product and business strategy. Partner with stakeholders across product, technology, operations, compliance, legal, risk, fraud, marketing, and executive leadership to secure buy-in and support for initiatives. Leverage market insights, customer feedback, and data analysis to identify opportunities, strengthen offerings, and maintain a competitive edge. Establish processes to capture and amplify the customer perspective in shaping payments solutions. Develop internal learning materials to increase organizational awareness of payment trends, technologies, and evolving industry dynamics. Cultivate and manage relationships with banks, fintechs, networks, and other strategic partners; act as the key liaison to ensure collaboration and issue resolution. Support partnership negotiations and oversee the documentation of agreements and key decisions. Translate long-term strategic objectives into actionable short-term milestones and performance targets. Own the payments roadmap, leading the prioritization and delivery of new features and capabilities in partnership with product design and engineering teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of progressive experience in product management, with a concentration in digital banking products, payments, commerce, or financial services. Demonstrated success in setting product direction, managing external partnerships, and influencing cross-functional teams. Seniorities
