Akkodis is seeking a
Technical Architect
for a
contract
with a client in
Atlanta, GA . Candidates must have expert-level experience designing and implementing modern data architecture on Azure using services like Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks.
Rate Rate Range:
$56/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technical Architect responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end modern data architectures on Azure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and modeling layers using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and dbt.
Define and enforce data modeling standards and best practices, ensuring robust support for business intelligence and analytics.
Drive cloud data platform strategy, embedding governance, security, and cost-efficiency into architectural decisions.
Plan and execute cloud migration projects, transitioning on-premises data warehouses to Azure with minimal disruption and high data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices in cloud data engineering and architecture.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 10 years in data engineering or architecture, with at least 4 years in a senior or architect-level role focused on cloud solutions.
Deep hands-on expertise with Azure services including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, and Databricks for building scalable data solutions.
Proven experience in leading cloud data migrations and implementing robust data models using dbt, along with strong knowledge of data governance and performance optimization.

Pay Details:
$56.00 to $60.00 per hour
