$249,600.00/yr - $374,400.00/yr Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases. Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we are leaders in that space, with: $10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception 100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and 25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today. We are continuing to invest in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Research Manager to support our mission. This role is based in New York or San Francisco and is open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model. About the Role Lead a Product and Market Research team to uncover insights that drive best-in-class experiences and positively impact the creative economy. Foster a company-wide culture of research and learning that inspires innovation and effective product development. Hire, manage, coach, and develop an exceptional team of Product and Market Researchers. Own the end-to-end research process of the team, ensuring ethical practices and impactful deliverables. Collaborate with Product, Product Design, Engineering, Data Science, People, and GTM Leadership to define key research questions, develop a clear point of view on insights, and use them to drive business objectives. Identify patterns and opportunities to inform Patreon’s future direction. Influence strategy and clearly present complex concepts to leadership and the broader organization to sustain an informed and empathetic culture. About You Experience leading complex research studies with large data sets and multiple dependencies. Ability to prioritize and build scalable processes. Track record of hiring and developing talented Researchers. Thrives in an ambiguous, scaling, iterative environment. Detail-oriented while keeping the big picture in view; insights should galvanize the organization. Ability to foster a data- and research-driven culture in a fast-paced product environment.
