Role We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Portfolio Analyst at Associate level to join our Portfolio Implementation team. This role is located in Boston, MA. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Responsibilities
Implement trades and portfolio changes, overseeing the end-to-end investment process including on-boarding and off-boarding.
Manage cash flows and rebalance portfolios in a timely and effective manner including monitoring asset allocations and FX hedges across funds.
Monitor portfolio holdings to ensure consistent application of investment strategy and compliance with guidelines.
Act as a liaison between the investment team and other internal business partners, including trading, compliance, fund administration, client services, and operations.
Act as a subject matter expert on investment systems. Work to identify system enhancements / issues, assist with portfolio management projects, and support reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
3-5 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with portfolio implementation or investment operations
Knowledge of a wide range of investment strategies and asset classes
Experience with Blackrock Aladdin (or the ability to quickly learn) and/or other investment platforms
Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate between various groups within a global organization
