The role involves representing corporate and insurer clients, evaluating claims, providing legal counsel, and advocating in hearings, trials, mediations, and negotiations. Charlotte, North Carolina Duties:

Represent corporate and insurer clients in workers’ compensation claims. Evaluate claims and advise clients on legal strategies and optimal resolutions. Handle litigation proceedings, including hearings, trials, depositions, and oral arguments. Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations on behalf of clients. Prepare and submit required client reports, motions, and legal briefs. Communicate effectively with client representatives, claims professionals, and opposing counsel. Requirements:

Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse clients, attorneys, and staff. One or more years of workers’ compensation defense experience preferred (candidates with additional experience will be considered). Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced legal environment. Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications:

Admission to the North Carolina State Bar. Skills:

Proficiency in legal research and case analysis. Strong written and verbal advocacy skills. Negotiation and litigation experience. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team.
