Role Description This job is responsible for analyzing processes, documenting business case opportunities, and implementing process improvement/transformation initiatives in support of Operational Excellence objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting the execution of change initiatives which may result in cost efficiencies, quality, productivity, and risk mitigation. Job expectations include working with business leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring collaboration and transparency across integrated business and technology teams, and driving execution of solutions within the budget and timeline.
Line of Business Line of Business Job Description:
Wealth Management Operations (WMO) provides end-to-end operational support of Merrill, Private Bank, and Workplace Benefits.
The Strategy and Transformation Team within WMO leads the evolution and full integration of the Operational Excellence program within the organization. The team leads strategic work efforts geared toward improving Wealth Management Operations using process analysis techniques and supports Process Owners (PO) to drive recommendations on strategic direction and compliance with the Enterprise Process Management Policy.
Responsibilities
Support Process Owners in building and maintaining comprehensive process documentation to enable decision making, provide proof of regulatory compliance, and sustain continuous process improvement
Promote and facilitate the use of process management principles and tools to assess processes and aid in the identification of process improvement opportunities including: documenting current state processes, identifying pain points, and developing target state solution recommendations
Manage the pipeline and continuous refinement of process improvement opportunities to build compelling business cases that allow leaders to understand the benefits, costs, and justification of implementing change

3+ years of process design experience including process, people, and technology design
Advanced process mapping skills using Visio or ARIS
Single Process Inventory and Enterprise Process Management Policy & Standard
Proficient facilitation skills, able to lead and influence cross functional teams
Avid learner comfortable navigating new situations with high degrees of complexity
Proficient with MS Excel to conduct data analysis that yields new process insights
Expert with MS PowerPoint to construct and deliver presentations that enable others to grasp and embrace new concepts and outcomes
3+ years of strategic planning experience including multi-year plans and business cases
Possesses a basic awareness of technology capabilities
Desired Qualifications
Six Sigma Black / Green Belt certification
Process Owner certification
Experience managing or supporting operations
Wealth Management Operations

Pay Transparency details US - NJ - Pennington - 1400 American Blvd - Hopewell Bldg 4 (NJ2140)
Pay range $71,000.00 - $118,100.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
