Overview We are seeking a skilled and versatile
Data Scientist
to join us as a contractor with the potential to be hired full time. In this role, you’ll collaborate with practice leaders, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex business challenges using data science and AI-driven approaches. You’ll work on end-to-end data science initiatives, with opportunities to design and implement cutting-edge solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for Rx procurement and refill planning.
Lead projects involving
time-series forecasting, optimization, and reinforcement learning
for large-scale healthcare operations.
Apply expertise in
Python, Databricks, Vertex AI, Snowflake, and SQL
to build scalable solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning and advanced analytics.
Strong background in
time-series modeling, optimization, and reinforcement learning .
Proficiency in
Python, SQL, Databricks, and Snowflake ; experience with
Vertex AI or equivalent cloud ML platforms
is a plus.
Solid understanding of healthcare or pharmaceutical supply chain processes preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
