field. Responsibilities

Oversee the design and usability of the e-commerce site to optimize the online user experience. As a senior designer, apply UX design tools and methodologies, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing. As a senior leader, manage cross-functional partnerships, build and maintain collaborative relationships, and present to broad audiences. Drive end-to-end user experience vision on Helzberg.com; develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate and iterate on concepts. Direct UI/UX designers (internal associates, contractors, agencies) through the UI/UX process from concept to design documentation and execution. Conduct comprehensive user research to understand user needs, goals, and behaviors. Analyze web data to monitor website performance and identify opportunities. Identify A/B testing opportunities within UI/UX to support an e-commerce test-and-learn environment. Deliver against target KPIs through continuous innovation, testing, and scaling of winning experiments. Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure a quality digital product experience. Keep up to date with design trends, societal shifts, and new technology to identify future opportunities. Provide recommendations on UX and UI enhancements with a mobile-first design approach. Lead with a user-centric mindset; champion user-centered design principles while meeting business objectives. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in UX/product design, preferably in a retail environment. Strong portfolio showcasing UX and interaction design, visual design aesthetic, and user-centered thinking. Knowledge of web and e-commerce analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and tools such as Monetate, Syte, Tangiblee, A/B Tasty, Content Square, etc. Superior design and PowerPoint skills. Ability to translate complex design challenges into clear, user-friendly experiences. Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods (surveys, usability testing, multivariate testing, A/B testing, etc.). Ability to balance user, business, and technical needs; comfortable with feedback culture. Data- and insight-driven decision making based on metrics, segment data, and user research findings. Ability to understand and help gather business reporting requirements. Organized, reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attention to detail. Hybrid schedule with on-site attendance required three or more days per week, including interaction with coworkers, managers, and customers on site. Additional Details
