Senior Water / Wastewater Engineer - Civil & Chemical

Key Responsibilities
Design of water, wastewater and other infrastructure systems and facilities
Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of groundwater/wastewater projects
Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordination
Industrial process control and Control Systems Design
Leading and mentoring mid-level staff
Construction management/inspection
Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations
Prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projects
Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
Take ownership of projects from start to finish
Review submittals, oversee the design, variety of projects keeping within budget and meeting timelines/milestones
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater project design
5+ years of experience in field construction management
Bachelors degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering
P.E. license in California or ability to transfer within a reasonable timeframe is required
Quality control certifications
Abilities to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships
Ability to learn and adapt
Experience in managing technical staff and project teams
Ability to manage several projects concurrently
Demonstrated success in business development activities
Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and multi-disciplinary team members

Engineering Analytics, Inc. (EA), now part of MacKay Sposito, is a civil and environmental engineering firm with offices in Fort Collins, CO; Raton, NM; and San Diego, CA. EA specializes in site remediation, mining, water resources, municipal infrastructure, and energy-related projects. EA will continue to operate under its established name during a transitional period as we work toward full integration with MacKay Sposito. Our combined capabilities offer broader career opportunities, greater resources, and expanded services while maintaining EA’s client focus and technical excellence.
Salary and Benefits The salary information shown below is a general guideline and varies by experience and qualifications. The annual wage range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
