As a Water Quality Automation Technician, you will provide key support for our year-round park operational needs. You will: Perform routine inspections of all Water Quality Life Support Systems. Troubleshoot and repair systems. Set up and install systems for new and existing units. Perform bench and field repair. Plan workload with minimal supervision. Train others in general system operations and functions. Strictly adhere to all safety procedures. Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests. Perform other duties as assigned. What it takes to succeed
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. At least 4 years of electrical controls experience Advanced experience working with VFD's, PLC's and controllers Ability to write Delta code Familiar with computer automated systems & the associated equipment Familiar with repairing ozonators Good understanding of blueprints and schematic diagrams Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Good mechanical skills required Advance experience in installing conduit (PVC, EMT, Rigid) and low voltage raceways preferred Excellent communication and math skills What else is important
Valid state driver\'s license. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed. Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing). Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes. Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals. Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays.
