Managing Consultant/Senior Consultant - Life Sciences Advisory
We are seeking Managing Consultant and Senior Consultant level professionals to join Guidehouse’s Life Sciences practice. You will work with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic companies to develop and deliver solutions across product planning, pricing, reimbursement, product commercialization, and regulatory and compliance areas.
What You Will Do Support life sciences clients by partnering with teams across all levels to deliver strategic initiatives in product planning, pricing, reimbursement, product commercialization, and regulatory and compliance solutions. Apply industry knowledge to help clients address today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s opportunities.
What You Will Need As a Managing Consultant
BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field.
Minimum 4 years of prior relevant work or consulting experience with large global pharma, mid-sized pharma and/or biotech clients.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Oncology, Data Analytics, Global Market Access and/or Commercial Strategy.
Ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies.
Excellent communication skills to convey strategic recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management.
Experience managing project teams (workplans, staffing, deadlines, scope and budget).
Demonstrated success supervising and mentoring junior staff and guiding career development.
Willingness to travel to client sites across the US, up to 20% of the time.
Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
What You Need As a Senior Consultant
BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field.
Minimum 2 years of prior relevant work or consulting experience with large global pharma, mid-sized pharma and/or biotech clients.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Oncology, Data Analytics, Global Market Access and/or Commercial Strategy.
Ability to analyze complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies.
Excellent communication skills to convey strategic recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management.
Strong analytical skills (Excel, Access, etc.) and ability to use data to guide client and team decisions.
Ability to work independently with appropriate oversight; experience managing parts of projects and supervising others.
Willingness to travel to client sites across the US, up to 20% of the time.
Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
What Would Be Nice To Have
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MBA, MS) preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
Strong client management experience including expanding relationships and identifying add-on opportunities.
What We Offer The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
