Access Control Administrative Support Specialist

to support our Customer in Washington, DC. Responsibilities

Provide ID card services to Active military, Reserve Members, military retirees, family members/dependents and other eligible recipients of the Uniformed Services, DoD civilian employees, eligible contractor personnel, retirees and dependents, and other customers. Performs a variety of general administrative and customer service tasks in support of day-to-day operations of the Office of Command Administrative Services. Required

Previous DEERS/RAPID ID card facility experience A minimum of 2 years-experience in issuing CAC ID Cards and administrative support experience required This position will require successful completion of pre-employment background check and subsequent security investigation favorably adjudicated prior to operating and having access to DEERS/RAPIDS equipment. Strong communication skills, dependability, professional demeanor, and team player approach required Ability to exercise discretion at all times and provide limited judgment is required Must be available to provide services Monday-Friday, 0715 - 1600 Ability to enter data with 100% accuracy in the DEERS RAPID Database Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Desired

Knowledge of DEERS/RAPID process Time Management skills, ability to interact with all personalities within a military environment, and demonstrated problem solving skills are strongly desired. Should have ability to operate general office equipment such as computer, fax, copier, and scanner. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
