Overview
Job Title:
Alliance Management & CNS Program Manager Location:
Waltham, MA (Hybrid - at least 1 day/week onsite) The Alliance Management & CNS Program Manager will be responsible for managing alliances with external partners and overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of Research CNS projects within the program team. Acting as the right hand to the CNS Program Leader, this individual will ensure alignment with business objectives by managing budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and communication across all project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive alliance plans and timelines.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and maintain strong relationships with alliance partners.
Ensure effective governance and smooth management of multiple alliances.
Partner with the Research CNS Program Lead to define program goals, scope, and deliverables aligned with corporate strategy.
Drive weekly CNS program meetings, including agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and minute distribution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and coordinate necessary adjustments across projects.
Manage budgets and timelines effectively across different program workstreams.
Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues impacting program success.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders including program teams, leadership, clients, and internal departments.
Generate regular reports to track progress against goals and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Adapt to evolving requirements and effectively manage program transitions.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in alliance or operational management, with responsibilities spanning pre-clinical, clinical, or commercial collaborations.
Experience in both small biotech and large pharma environments preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated success managing complex programs or projects.
Strong understanding of the drug development process.
Working knowledge of essential activities across all major functional areas.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
