Neurologist Hospitalist

to join our dynamic and growing inpatient neurology team. Job Summary As a Neurologist Hospitalist, you will provide inpatient neurology consultation and management services, primarily for patients admitted with neurological disorders such as stroke, seizures, encephalopathy, and other acute conditions. You will collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency physicians, and subspecialty teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient neurology consults for acute and subacute neurological conditions Manage neurology inpatients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Interpret neuroimaging and EEG studies (if applicable) Participate in stroke team call/response and manage acute stroke codes Provide education to residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers Documentation and billing in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Provide and interpret EMG's/NCS studies (desirable) Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Valid and unrestricted medical license in NYS license Strong clinical and communication skills Commitment to inpatient neurology and teamwork Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary and productivity-based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice coverage (occurrence) CME allowance and paid time off Retirement plan with employer contributions $340k-390k Why Join Us?
