Overview
The Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio is recruiting BC/BE Neurohospitalists to complement our general and specialty neurology services. The Neurohospitalist will manage inpatients with neurological disorders (including patients in the emergency department, intensive care units, and consultations for neurological injury) and will participate in our Teleneurology program to provide neurology expertise to community hospitals via telemedicine. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with academic record and experience. Department/Division Overview
The Department of Neurology at OSU Wexner Medical Center comprises 15 divisions, 63 physicians, 5 psychologists, 12 research faculty, 24 residents, and 14 fellows. We offer subspecialty care across neurology disciplines, with multiple ambulatory facilities and hospitals, numerous clinics, an 18-bed neurocritical care unit, a 30-bed stroke ward, and an expanding teleneurology service with 7 regional hospitals. Our telestroke network includes 32 affiliated hospitals. The department is active in research with funding, trials, and programs across neurogenetics, neuroimmunology, and neuroregenerative medicine. We feature education through clinical fellowships and international training opportunities, with our residency program ranked in the top percentile nationwide in 2024.
