Overview
We are hiring an Inpatient Neurologist for ongoing Locums coverage with a large NJ hospital system. Coverage need is 9 months to 1 year. This provider will round inpatients at 2 NJ facilities, seeing 6-10 new patients per day plus follow ups with APN support. Flexible scheduling (2–4 weeks per month) will be discussed during the interview process. Lumbar punctures are preferred; EEGs are read by an employed epilepsy group. Responsibilities
Provide inpatient neurology coverage with rounding at 2 NJ facilities. Manage 6–10 new patients per day plus follow-ups with APN support. Possess the ability to perform lumbar punctures; EEG interpretation handled by the epilepsy group. Qualifications
Neurology residency (minimum requirement). DEA and CDS licenses required to be considered. Trauma Level experience not required but would be helpful. Details
Coverage Start Date: 8/19/2024 Coverage End Date: 1/31/2024 with option to extend Daily Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; no call; schedule may vary with census Benefits and Culture
