Overview

Senior Business Analyst

for a major government IT modernization program. This high performing team member will help clients use various technology offerings and/or industry specific solutions to solve business problems in finance, operations, human capital, customer, and governance, risk and compliance. The senior consultant will manage day-to-day operations, provide functional expertise, and translate business requirements to the program team. This is a high-visibility, demanding project. The project team is highly collaborative, agile, and fast-paced. Responsibilities

Oversees daily operations and manages design, development, deployment, and operations and maintenance of federal budget and execution processes. Participates in the improvement of financial and budgetary business processes. Serves as the primary client contact for scope, performance and execution of SOW tasks. Provides clear, routine, and effective communication between project and client teams. Critically reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, producing clear proposals, documentation, and deliverables. Facilitates discussions with stakeholders to clarify scope. Works with product owners and managers to convert business use cases into actionable tasks for development teams. Writes user stories and ensures stories and tasks are complete prior to sprint planning. Applies analysis of business systems and software solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of work processes. Leads documentation related to system information architecture and processes (e.g., requirements, functional specs, data flow, test cases, traceability matrices, flow charts, wireframes, user stories, use cases). Conducts presentations and communicates product features to technical and non-technical audiences; coordinates cross-team initiatives. Coordinates with developers on technical service tickets, fixes, and enhancements. Uses project management practices to ensure requirements are met and communicates deliverables to stakeholders, including executive reporting and issue/risk/change management. Builds strong working relationships and helps resolve client and team challenges; contributes to a positive team environment. What You Will Need

US Citizenship or Authorization to work in the US; ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust Bachelor’s degree Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst on agile software development projects Understanding of the agile SDLC General understanding of web technologies Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience modeling with Visio, Draw.io, or equivalent Experience coordinating cross-team initiatives and communicating across teams Experience with integration and customization of COTS products Familiarity with IT architecture, governance, and data exchange Strong presentation and web communication skills; ability to explain complex technical problems to non-technical audiences Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Customer service orientation Passion for learning new technologies and practices Ability to maintain big-picture vision while defining detailed requirements Adaptable, dependable, and independent General understanding of DevOps culture and tools Proficiency with requirements-gathering tools Proficiency with updating Wiki documentation Nice to Have

Experience with Appian, JIRA Federal budget knowledge related to formulation, planning, and execution Ability to review and analyze accounting transactions to support bug fixes Salary and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00–$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on skill sets, experience, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. What We Offer
