Overview
Criterion Valley Early Intervention Program is currently seeking a full time
Program Director .
This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Early Childhood Services and the Executive Director.
Responsibilities
Possesses tact and courtesy when relating to children, parents and co-workers.
Complies with all agency, state and federal documentation requirements.
Maintains confidentiality as specified by agency policy, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Participates in recruitment and termination of staff.
Provides orientation and training to staff.
Provides supervision to all staff.
Completes probationary and annual performance evaluations
Participates in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
Facilitates referrals to school systems and other community providers.
Maintains appropriate communication with physicians, clinics and other community agencies.
Meets with the Senior Director of Early Childhood Services on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college in a field related to early childhood development, pediatric therapy or mental health.
Three (3) years pediatric experience. Two (2) years supervisory experience.
Current Massachusetts registration, if applicable.
Current Malpractice Insurance, if applicable. Obtains Department of Public Health Early Intervention Director Certification within specified timelines.
