Technical Product Owner - Minneapolis (W2)
Technical Product Owner position in Minneapolis, responsible for guiding product strategy and coordinating Agile practices across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the scope and timelines for each project.
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups to ensure effective Agile practices.
Coach team members in the application of Agile frameworks.
Facilitate internal communication and promote effective collaboration across teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external communications, including customers or stakeholders.
Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and address new requests.
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles encountered by the team.
Support teams in implementing changes efficiently and effectively.
Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Guide development teams toward higher levels of Scrum maturity.
Foster a productive environment where team members take ownership of the product and are motivated in their work.
Take responsibility for innovation and the end-to-end launch of products.
Work with digital business partners and vendors to develop roadmaps and drive products and features from concept to launch within a fast-paced environment.
Partner with cross-functional teams to turn data insights into actionable products for customers.
Operate within an Agile environment, refining priorities, milestones, and deliverables while identifying opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to inform the product vision, strategy, feature set, and prioritization.
Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap in partnership with business teams.
Translate the product roadmap into well-defined requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products.
Lead the functional design process based on knowledge of users and technology.
Define and execute go-to-market plans, ensuring that product management, marketing, and sales have necessary resources.
Establish and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms for product performance.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Product Owner or Product Owner/Manager, preferably in the airline domain.
Strong understanding of software development and Scrum techniques (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
Knowledge of other Agile frameworks is valued.
Strong communication, servant leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
Scrum Master certification is a plus.
