Our Personal Loans have been recognized as “Best Debt Consolidation Loan” by Motley Fool and NerdWallet Best-of Awards. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a central role in how we present loan offers to customers and help them start the application process. You’ll work on projects like offer optimization, funnel conversion, return user flows, and new product features—including our recently launched homeowner discount program, which allows customers to leverage their home built-ins for a lower rate. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and designing high-interaction, customer-facing experiences at scale.

Recommend design improvements that will improve customer experiences, increase conversion rates and lead to higher personal loan issuance dollars. Iterate quickly to contribute to our culture of a/b testing to find winning designs. Partner with product, marketing, and engineering to shape concepts into flows, prototypes, and polished user experiences that ship frequently. Stay current on trends and the latest innovation in the personal loans space from a business and design perspective Collaborate on new features that push the category forward, like our homeowner discount program and refinance. User research and data insights to validate design decisions and deliver measurable outcomes. Contribute to and maintain the Upgrade Design System, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across products. Help shape internal design processes and foster a strong, collaborative team culture. Strong user-first mindset, with the ability to balance customer needs against business objectives. Comfortable operating at multiple levels—from shaping strategic direction and evolving the overall experience to executing detailed production work, including navigating legal and compliance reviews. Ability to translate user research, user needs, and product data into informed design solutions. Strong communication skills—you can explain design rationale and influence stakeholders. Strong interaction design skills with a portfolio that demonstrates impact. Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
