JourneyTeam . JourneyTeam is expanding its AI practice and seeking a Solution Architect – AI who is hungry, humble, and smart. If you have 8+ years of experience and are ready to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered Microsoft solutions—including Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, and Copilot extensibility—this is your opportunity to make a real impact. You’ll work directly with clients, guide engineering teams, and help solve meaningful business challenges as part of a collaborative, values-driven team. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll own the technical architecture and ensure delivery success across AI engagements. You’ll partner with project managers, data engineers, and AI engineers to build scalable, high-quality solutions that meet scope and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities

Architect & Design: Own the solution architecture and technical design for AI projects across Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, and Copilot extensibility. Oversee implementation and provide technical leadership to engineers during delivery. Implementation & Leadership: Design, build, and deploy AI solutions using Azure AI (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning). Leverage Microsoft AI Foundry to orchestrate models, design prompt flows, ground AI with enterprise data, and guide deployment strategies. Collaboration & Client Engagement: Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions. Conduct design reviews, architecture assessments, and governance checks throughout delivery. AI Engineering & Integration: Define technical standards, reusable frameworks, and accelerators for AI implementations. Integrate AI solutions with Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Dynamics 365, and custom applications. Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges during delivery, ensuring solutions meet enterprise performance, security, and governance requirements. Ensure AI solutions follow Microsoft’s Responsible AI principles (security, ethics, compliance). Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of Microsoft’s evolving AI ecosystem and help JourneyTeam clients adopt new capabilities effectively. Qualifications

8+ years of experience in solution architecture, AI/ML, or advanced analytics. Proven expertise with Azure AI services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure ML) and Microsoft AI Foundry. Strong background in Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, OneLake, and modern data architectures. Coding proficiency in Python, .NET, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for guiding implementation. Familiarity with MLOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, lifecycle management). Ability to design and implement solutions for performance, scalability, and governance. Demonstrated success in client-facing solution delivery and executive communication. Collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor engineers and guide project teams. Understanding of modern data architecture principles, including datalake, warehouse, lakehouse, medallion architecture, and data lifecycle management. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and contribute to client-facing projects with support from senior team members. AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals Preferred Skills (not Required)

AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate DP-700 Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate DP-600 Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate Experience with Microsoft AI Foundry for model orchestration, prompt engineering, data grounding, and deployment. Experience designing and optimizing systems for high-volume, high-velocity data, including real-time or near-real-time analytics pipelines. Experience with project delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, hybrid). Knowledge of change management practices to support data and AI adoption. Experience delivering projects involving Power BI, AI/ML adoption, or advanced analytics. Experience with Dynamics 365 (Project Service Automation or Project Operations). 30 Days: Understand our JourneyTeam delivery process. Shadow architects and engineers on active projects while beginning to contribute through AI prototyping, integration, and early delivery tasks. 6 Months: Independently lead the architecture, design, and implementation of customer-facing AI solutions, balance design authority with hands-on delivery. Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions. Facilitate client demos and workshops. Achieve at least one advanced Microsoft AI certification. Maintain a 75%+ customer engagement rate. 1 Year: Serve as a key advisor across multiple AI engagements and long-term client support. Be recognized as a trusted advisor by client stakeholders in AI adoption. Contribute to JourneyTeam’s AI practice accelerators and best practices. Maintain a 75%+ customer engagement rate. Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range of $120,000 – $180,000 + performance-based bonus program. Eligibility and payout are tied to individual contributions, team performance, and company success. This is the established pay range for the standard and senior-level Solution role at JourneyTeam for the AI Practice. Actual compensation is dependent on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities. New employees can expect to start at the lower end of the range with opportunity to grow within the organization. Benefits
