This will involve understanding the clinical needs and finding optimal imaging workflow in the OR/Cath Lab potentially including robotics and AI tools* Helping develop and sharing clinical workflows and outcomes to a broader audience within and outside Advanced Therapies (AT) to further procedural knowledge through internal/conference presentations and co-authored publications* Working with AT Innovations, R&D, and on-site service personnel to learn detailed operation and clinical implementation of prototype hardware and software.* Working with legal, research, and logistics personnel on (both internally and with academic centers) to develop research agreements that define the required equipment, funding and deliverables for each research project.* Active participation in data collection activities for SHS software development and testing across all of US for angiographic systems* Tracking budget, milestones, and deliverables throughout the project. Work with project manager in Forchheim and the site Principal Investigator to define the research ideas and deliverables for each project.* Where applicable, evaluating technical solutions for patentability and securing protection for ideas.* Providing written feedback to AT headquarters for each project and supporting the Principal Investigators in reporting and publishing efforts.* Communicating regularly with other members of the AT Research Collaborations group, other Imaging Modalities Collaborations group (example: MR, CT) via web meetings, site visits, and workshops in both the US and Germany.* Where applicable, working with the regional NAM organization (including Varian Interventional Solutions and Endo-Vascular Robotics) to develop research priorities for strategic partnerships with institutions.* Continuously monitoring technology landscape and evaluate technologies (tech transfer, start-ups, think tanks etc.) for applicability to angiographic systems**This position may suit you best if you are familiar with** **what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers:*** Experienced in using Siemens angiographic systems clinically, and especially in using advanced applications and tools* Have expertise in imaging physics and/or clinical experience in interventional imaging in one or more anatomic region or procedural workflow* Experienced in programming and medical image processing. AI programming skills are a definite plus. Experience in robotics will also be very helpful for this position.* You have very good presentation skills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation.**Required skills to have for the success of this role:*** BS with at least 10 years work experience, MS with at least 5 years work experience or PhD or MD (or foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering, Physics, or a related medical field and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an acceptable alternate occupation* Must have experience with some of following:

+ Working with medical imaging equipment in an environment (either commercial or academic) that involves frequent interaction with clinicians and other medical staff

+ Experience with industry-academia research collaborations.

+ Technical understanding of medical imaging, especially 2D and 3D imaging on angiographic systems especially in a clinical setting

+ Thorough understanding of clinical workflows in interventional procedures (Cardiology, Interventional and Neuro Radiology, Vascular Surgery).

+ Proficient knowledge in anatomical vasculature as they relate to interventional -ology (brain, liver, heart etc.)
