As the Medical Director of Adult Congenital Heart Disease, you will join a dedicated, passionate and collaborative team at the Methodist Congenital Heart Institute, including another board certified ACHD provider Lead and develop an ACHD clinic and work towards ACHD program certification Foster growth and innovation within the Methodist Congenital Heart Institute Participate in an international HCA Congenital Heart Collaborative Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care Employed position with Physician Services Highly competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package About Methodist Congenital Heart Institute and Methodist Children’s Hospital
The Methodist Congenital Heart Institute boasts sub-specialty expertise in Congenital Cardiac and Fetal Imaging, Interventional Cardiology, Inpatient Cardiology, Cardiac Intensive Care, and Adult Congenital Cardiology Largest congenital heart program in San Antonio for pediatrics and adults Largest adult heart failure program in South Texas and future plans for pediatric heart transplantation and advanced mechanical circulatory support 228-bed facility with seven operating suites within the 1037-bed Methodist Hospital campus 94 NICU beds and a 22-bed dedicated to pediatric cardiovascular care The Congenital heart program enjoys an extensive catchment area and rapidly growing referral base in South and West Texas, with 40% of volume neonates First Level IV NICU in San Antonio and one of the largest in the region First pediatric aortic heart valve procedure in Texas Methodist Healthcare System is a 50-50 co-ownership between Methodist Healthcare Ministries and HCA Healthcare; Methodist Children’s Hospital is one of the system’s nine acute care hospitals.
