Overview
We are seeking Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join our exceptional team at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington. Our Anesthesiology department at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, is comprised of 32 Anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs providing anesthesiology services for over 15,000 cases per year across the entire spectrum of surgical procedures including solid organ transplantation. Academic appointment is awarded by Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University based on established professorial guidelines. Our department is home to an accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program, under the sponsorship of Thomas Jefferson University, and is focused on providing excellence in training for the next generation of Pediatric Anesthesia physicians. Nemours Children’s Health is an internationally recognized, multi-site pediatric healthcare system built upon a centralized, efficient, and collaborative infrastructure committed to improving the health of all children. We have an excellent clinical trials team and research opportunities abound, as data and trials can span all sites within the integrated Nemours organization. Responsibilities
Provide pediatric anesthesiology services as part of a large team for a wide range of surgical procedures, including solid organ transplantation. Contribute to academic activities with potential for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor, and participate in training through the Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program. Collaborate with a network of clinicians across Nemours Children’s Health to support clinical care, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications
MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME Accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program and Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship Program Board Eligibility/Certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware Academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor To Apply and/or Learn More
