A mid-size pharmaceutical company is seeking a senior IT Business Analyst to sit within the IT organization. The BA will assist with enabling technologies that support Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, and Risk Based Monitoring teams. The Clinical Business Analyst will assist on multiple projects at a time, with day-to-day activities focused on gathering and defining requirements in Jira, maintaining the Jira board for the project, documentation, and administrative tasks. Many projects will be focused around CTMS, so they will need to have experience with clinical trial capabilities and be comfortable working with clinical stakeholders. The BA will help with a vendor platform for patient engagement (referring hospitals to patients) and a clinical risk-based project. They will help draft requirements and build processes for patient engagement. Another project will center around a site management payment tool and helping with building technologies to integrate with this tool (SAP, ERP, EDC, etc.). The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with stakeholders cross-functionally, have a full understanding of the SDLC, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They will need to be self-directed, proactive, ask insightful questions to PMs, and embed themselves within the environment. This engagement will start out as 6 months, with the potential to renew based on performance.
