The Global Technology team develops data center solutions to address growing customer needs. The Senior Software Engineer role is part of the Global Product Engineering team assigned to the InSight project.

Our InSight platform provides actionable business insights and predictive analytics through ML-based classification of a company’s information, enabling enhanced governance and workflows for our customers. Responsibilities
Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider tradeoffs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline. Develop service functionality using microservices APIs and JSON format. Develop applications based on Java and Python using frameworks such as Springboot and Flask. Use design patterns and object-oriented programming methodologies. Define service contract APIs for integration. API-to-API integrations. Integrate machine learning components in microservices. Work with infrastructure teams to implement and build scalable systems. Develop services for UI needs using front-end technologies like Angular and ReactJS. Use Docker containerization to build images and deploy to cloud technologies: GCP, AWS & Azure. Define SQL queries to communicate with backend applications. Develop unit tests with a test-driven mindset. Debug and address performance issues. Design and code with security considerations and identify security risks. Participate in peer/code reviews. Lead the development of a product feature. Qualifications
Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering production-grade systems in a team environment. Experience as a team lead working with 3-5 engineers. Motivated individual who learns quickly, takes pride in building a new product, and can engage others to accelerate technical solutions. Familiarity with design patterns and performance challenges. Experience working with distributed teams. 3 years of experience with agile Scrum methodologies. 7-10 years of development experience in OOP, Java, Python, Docker, Linux shell scripting, and SQL development. 3-5 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure in storage, compute and Kubernetes services. Experience developing and deploying AI/ML scalable microservices and API gateways. Experience with server-oriented architectures and web platform applications with API/REST integration. Architectural governance and security review experience. Experience with agile tools such as JIRA, Rally, TFS or VersionOne. Mastery of code repositories such as GIT and Artifactory. Education
BS, MS or MBA from an accredited/recognized university desired.
