We’re seeking a dedicated WHS Manager to drive a comprehensive safety program that touches thousands of lives. You’ll work at the intersection of operations and safety, shaping workplace health while delivering real-time solutions that protect our people. Responsibilities
Serve as the site’s safety facilitator, coordinating the Global WHS Program with precision and passion. Partner with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations, using data-driven insights to create innovative solutions that reduce risk and enhance productivity. Build trust, influence change, and drive results by leading comprehensive risk assessments and transforming safety data into actionable strategies. Lead and develop a high-performing team of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Drive safety leadership and innovation, setting new benchmarks in workplace safety and leveraging technology and data analytics for preventive safety measures. Establish partnerships with Operations leadership to integrate safety into every aspect of the business and influence strategic decision-making. Oversee recordkeeping, WHS training programs, and compliance with safety policies. Additional Job Elements
Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Work in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures; some sites include outside loading departments. Continuously climb and descend stairs (sites with stairs). Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations. 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management. Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. Preferred Qualifications
Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS experience with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people. Master’s degree. Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. Certified Safety Professional. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders. Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability. The base pay for this position ranges from $84,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,500/year in our highest geographic market.
