Leidos is seeking a Principal Linux Systems Administrator with demonstrated experience supporting and optimizing hybrid infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Linux system administration, infrastructure automation, and modern hyper-converged infrastructure platforms, along with foundational Windows support. Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Linux systems across enterprise environments Create and manage automation scripts using Ansible for provisioning and configuration Support Windows Server environments to ensure cross-platform compatibility Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes Operate and optimize hyperconverged infrastructure platforms, including Rancher and Harvester Integrate Proxmox virtualization into existing systems and workflows Implement identity and access controls using Centrify across hybrid deployments Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

in a relevant field with

15+ years of experience , or

No degree

with

20+ years of related professional experience and IAT Level II certification

(e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP) Quantifiable Linux systems administration experience in enterprise environments Strong proficiency in Ansible scripting for automation and provisioning Foundational experience in Windows Systems Administration Hands-on exposure to virtualization tools including Proxmox Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Harvester) Operational understanding of hyperconverged infrastructure platforms (e.g., Nutanix, Dell VxRail, Azure Stack HCI) Clearance Required:

Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
