Overview
Location: Michigan. Locum Tenens Gastroenterology position to supplement GI call coverage, IP consults, ED and scheduled procedures. Up to 3 full-time physicians requested. Start ASAP or 4/1/24 and ongoing. Inpatient coverage with on-call duties; scheduled hours with 7a–7a, 24-hour shifts (pager at night). Schedule: 8-hour on-site hospital coverage, 8:00–16:30; on-call shifts as noted below. Responsibilities
Inpatient scheduled hours + call shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. next day). On-site hospital coverage with pager duty at night. IP consults and ED coverage in addition to scheduled procedures. Provide endoscopy procedures as listed below and participate in follow-ups as assigned. Cover the specific call shift windows listed in the original job details. Procedures and Clinical Scope
Colonoscopy Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Upper GI Endoscopy: Diagnostic, Therapeutic with Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal Facility and Support
Group: 1 Physician Trauma Level I Facility On-site Lab and X-ray APP support provided EMR: EPIC Requirements and Logistics
