Texas Oncology is looking to add a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to maintain their busy five physician practice in Dallas, Texas. We are searching for a person with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. All members of our team participate in caring for the entire spectrum of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, including stem cell transplant patients. Our institution is a member of the Children's Oncology Group and our Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant program is FACT approved. We have an active research program, including early phase trials. Inpatient and outpatient care is provided primarily at Medical City Dallas Children\'s Hospital, in a new, state-of-the-art dedicated oncology unit. We also have a satellite practice located at Children\'s Medical Center Plano Campus and outreach opportunities in multiple cities in Texas including Tyler, Mt. Pleasant, Midland, and Odessa. Responsibilities

Care for pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including stem cell transplant patients.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care.

Participate in care at Medical City Dallas Children\'s Hospital and the satellite practice at Children's Medical Center Plano, with outreach across Texas.

Qualifications

Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

A broad interest in pediatric hematology/oncology; background or passion for bone marrow transplant or brain tumors is of particular interest.
