The Role
As a Senior Web Strategist, you’ll play a central role in shaping the direction of large-scale digital platforms, from defining user needs and business goals to influencing site architecture, user journeys, and digital content strategy. Strategists at WDG are insight-driven thinkers. You will lead discovery, conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations. You’ll help clients see the bigger picture while also providing the details driving decisions across the project timeline. This role is highly collaborative, working closely both with client teams, third party partners, and cross-functional teams of designers, developers and sales. Your confidence is key in both presentation and facilitation. You won’t be responsible for project management or technical scoping, but you’ll be expected to guide strategic conversations and translate business requirements into digital opportunities. What You’ll Do
Lead discovery and research for client engagements Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and team working sessions Analyze user data, including Google Analytics and behavior flows Conduct heuristic reviews and competitive/comparative analysis Surface audience insights and identify opportunities for engagement Develop strategic deliverables such as sitemaps, wireframes, and high-level content frameworks Contribute to pre-sales strategy, helping contextualize digital needs during business development Stay current with web trends, UX best practices, and digital transformation strategy What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in a strategy, UX, or digital consulting role (agency experience preferred) Strong client-facing communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Understanding of digital marketing tactics including SEO, SEM, and analytics Familiarity with web technologies, open-source CMS platforms, and e-CRM systems Strong analytical and synthesis skills, are able to turn research into clear direction for clients and your team at WDG A collaborative mindset and a healthy dose of curiosity Compensation
This role offers a salary range of
$90K–$120K , depending on experience, along with industry competitive benefits and perks. Why WDG
