Overview

Health System Director of Pharmacy – Great Falls Clinic Hospital, Great Falls, MT. This is a full-time, exempt position at CPS Solutions, LLC, overseeing all pharmacy operations at Great Falls Clinic Hospital and Great Falls Clinic Medical Center in accordance with hospital policies, standards of practice, and state and federal laws. As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Health System Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, encourage innovations in practice, assist with security of the pharmacies and controlled substances, assist in recruitment and hiring of pharmacy staff, ensure legal, accreditation, and certification requirements are met, ensure provision of optimal services, and enhance financial performance, with support from a full team. This position works at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday; hours may vary and can be long and irregular, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Starting Pay

Today, the Great Falls Clinic Hospital is a licensed 46-bed hospital offering diverse specialty medical clinics, urgent care, primary care, cancer center, and highly specialized surgical services. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Pharmacy

The pharmacy is open 24/7 and the centralized pharmacy utilizes TouchPoint and Meditech. Required Qualifications

Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred 3+ years of recent Pharmacy Director experience in a complex health system At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting Required Knowledge/Skills

Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services. Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technology Leadership, administrative, human resource, and managerial skills required Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on interdisciplinary teams and committees Business acumen including profit/loss understanding, contract negotiations, and GPO function Effective verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics Problem solving and analytical thinking ability Hospital Requirements (may be required)

TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) or a blood titer proving immunity Varicella - documented doses or a blood titer proving immunity Influenza vaccination - required for hire between Oct 1 and Apr 30 Benefits
