Pay Range: $82,000.00 - $91,000.00 annually

Role Summary: The Warehouse Fleet Manager for Canteen at Google will plan, organize, direct, arrange, evaluate and be responsible for the operations of the fleet. This includes management and safety of the fleet of vehicles (EVs, gas, diesel and electric), safety training, vehicle maintenance logistics, routing, and overall fleet operations. The role oversees fleet managers, drivers and staff, with some oversight of warehouse facilities and opportunities for operation improvements. The person will serve as the point of contact during any absence of the AGM/GM of the warehouse and will ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met, as well as security of people and stock. The role also supports meeting productivity targets, team management, recruitment and staff training.

Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate a staff of salaried managers and hourly employees.

Foster an environment of teamwork to achieve program results.

Ensure customer/user/client service expectations are met, including service level metrics and quality goals.

Communicate with internal departments (e.g., EMR, IT, HR, Accounting, Procurement) to resolve issues and improve performance.

Ensure account and Canteen quality standards are met.

Suggest and implement process improvements with a focus on routing.

Prepare reports and analyses for the account.

Coordinate with financial reports and the weekly/monthly Close Process.

Support safety programs and OSHA/state safety compliance.

Ensure building security requirements are met.

Work independently while coordinating with others as needed.

Partner with EMR for planned maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of proven operations management experience.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all management levels and resolve conflicts.

Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides); experience with ERP/order processing systems.

Knowledge of applicable regulations, health and safety, security, and transportation principles.

Ability to lead, adapt to change, and communicate effectively in group settings.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Capability to manage in a health and safety conscious environment.
