Overview
AdventHealth for Children at The Walt Disney Pavilion is seeking an exceptional, fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist to join our established practice in Orlando, Florida. This role involves expanding our services to satellite locations in Celebration and Winter Garden, enhancing patient access and reducing wait times for high-quality pediatric dermatologic care.
Requirements of the position include:
MD or DO degree
Board eligible or board certification by the American Board of Dermatology
Fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology
Active FL license or ability to obtain
Hospital Description Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a comprehensive, tertiary children's hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, including more than 30 peds ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102-bed Level IV NICU, a 17-bed pediatric emergency department, and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We have a strong track record of positive outcomes in our pediatric open heart program, along with key destination programs like our Level IV Epilepsy program, pediatric liver and kidney transplants, and expanded NICU beds. Recognized by US News & World Report as the best Children's Hospital for newborn care in Florida, and by The Leapfrog Group for quality and safety, our hospital is a magnet-designated institution for nursing excellence.
Location Description Located in the outpatient center on the AdventHealth for Children campus, our facility offers proximity to vibrant neighborhoods, downtown Orlando, shopping, and excellent schools. Orlando boasts world-class attractions such as Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and numerous beaches. The city hosts major league sports teams, UCF college sports, and the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts. With a population of around two million residents in the surrounding counties, Orlando is one of the fastest-growing areas in the South, with direct flights to many U.S., South American, and European destinations.
