Job Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour pediatric hospitalist coverage
Conduct daily rounds in nursery, managing 1-3 newborns on average
Attend C-sections and routine deliveries
Manage pediatric ER consults and admissions (4-7 per month on average)
Coordinate transfer of complex or high-risk cases
Collaborate with nursing staff and on-call OB physicians
Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
Ensure high-quality patient care and safety
Adapt to working in a new facility with modern amenities
Stay current with best practices in pediatric hospital medicine
