physician to join our growing team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 100% clinical, non-research track position.
Position Details
Full time Monday - Friday
100% Clinical
90% inpatient and 10% outpatient - telehealth included in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Practice locations include:
IU Health Methodist Hospital
IU North
IU West
IU Saxony
St. Francis
Ortho Indy
Qualifications:
Infectious Diseases fellowship, required
Infectious Diseases BE/BC, required
Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
Visa sponsorship; H1B, J1 (2025 only)

The hospital has 1,000 beds and serves as a large tertiary referral center and the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, with subspecialized capabilities in cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care.
IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, consolidating operations of IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction is well underway and expected to open in late 2027, featuring three 16-story towers with 864 beds. The School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building to the east of the new hospital.
