Overview
Pediatric Hospitalist Physician – Start Date: ASAP. Availability: Call 24; On Call Pay Rate: $1455.00 - $1575.00. This facility is seeking a locum tenens Pediatric Hospitalist physician to fill an immediate need. Responsibilities
Schedule: Call only; 6:00am–6:00am; 4–5 shifts per month Total census per provider per shift: 1–7 Procedures: Do not perform central line placement outside the newborn period (Umbilical Venous Catheter and Umbilical Arterial Catheter are technically central lines but only for neonates); chest tubes; intubations for pediatric patients are typically managed in the Emergency Department. Emergency Department doctors and anesthesia would typically have more experience in this setting. Electronic Medical Record: EPIC Support: To be determined Certifications and license requirements: Active California license, Drug Enforcement Administration license, board certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Credentialing timeframe: 30 days Facility Location
