Locums Interventional Cardiology Job in Oregon

Overview An Oregon hospital is seeking an interventional cardiologist (non-structural) for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This full-time role includes 8-hour shifts in the cath lab and clinic, with hospital call coverage during those hours. Evening call runs from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., and weekend call spans Friday evening through Monday morning. The physician will round and admit STEMI and clinic patients, averaging 15 clinic patients and 10–20 rounding patients per day. Responsibilities

Round and admit STEMI and clinic patients.

Averages: 15 clinic patients and 10–20 rounding patients per day.

Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures, DCCVs, and temporary pacemaker placements.

Provide 8-hour shifts in the cath lab and clinic, with hospital call coverage during those hours; evening call from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.; weekend call from Friday evening through Monday morning.

Qualifications

Active Oregon license preferred.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Interventional cardiology experience; non-structural emphasis.
