Tufts Medicine is seeking skilled and motivated
Cardiac Anesthesiologists
to join our outstanding team at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. We are offering a
$100,000 sign-on bonus
for full-time MD/DOs and are also accepting candidates seeking part-time or Per Diem schedules.
The Role As a key member of both the clinical and academic teams, you will work under the supervision of the department chair and will hold an academic appointment as an Assistant/Associate Professor. You will provide anesthesia for a wide range of procedures, including complex cardiac procedures, heart transplants, and will work in a highly collaborative, small-group environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for complex cardiac procedures, including
heart transplants , coronary bypass surgeries, valve replacements, and more.
Supervise and teach cardiac fellows, residents, and CRNAs in the perioperative management of cardiac patients.
Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans.
Work within a
small group
setting to maintain high-quality patient care.
Take a
post-heart call day off
to support a balanced and sustainable work-life schedule.
Be available for
overtime
as needed to accommodate surgical schedules and high patient volumes.
Contribute to the
academic mission
by engaging with fellows and residents in education, research, and mentorship.
