Community Pet Hospital is a forward-thinking, general practice and emergency hospital with two locations in Thornton, CO, near the stunning Rocky Mountainsan outdoor lovers dream! Our comprehensive care facility allows us to cater to a wide range of patient needs, from urgent care cases to emergency situations. This unique approach provides our veterinarians with a diverse array of cases and the opportunity to perform their own surgeries. Additionally, as a general practice, we offer continuity of care that ensures our patients receive consistent, quality treatment throughout their lives. Our 10-doctor small animal practice prioritizes high-quality medicine, client education, and staff development. We embrace a team-based approach, with skilled, experienced support staff and regular DVM meetings to foster collaboration and continuous growth. What we are looking for:
At least 6-12 months of emergency experience
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
Manages time and tasks appropriately.
Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth
